No, forget De Puniet. Performance of the day was from Melandri.

Casey might not have won but excellent to see an Aussie win anyway. Great job Jeremy Burgess, you gave the others a master class yet again. Forget Hondas, Suzukis, Ducatis ... if there was a bike called a Burgess we'd all buy one.

Oh good job Rossi too :)

Well it's a statement made by the king of setup so who am I to question it? :p
What you saw yesterday is excellent teamwork, setting up these bikes has become so difficult that two degrees in track temperature change can ruin it.
Apart from that having a good tactical plan is wise
and being able to if need be adjust that plan during the race.
That is all up to the rider. The skill, the experience shows.

Fair enough then. I guess that means Stoner was the reason for 8 of his 10 wins in '07 and Rossi was the reason for 3 of his 5 wins...

On Dutch tv was an interesting interview with Romagnoli (Lorenzos crewchief) explaining the features of the M1. He described it as being a very good allround bike, very balanced but not the fastest. So many riders can ride it. The ability to move the weight (including the engine) around is important to suit the Bridgestones, apart from that he said that their aim is not to disrupt the balance when setting it up because everything is connected. They have the data from all other Yamaha riders and make subtle changes in parctice.

Accept the farce and be a good little robot.
What more double standards surely not.
What we have are two opposing outlooks depending on who it is being spoken of.Rossi was very fortunate to win or is there more at play here than meets the eye?

Sorry, finger error being unfair to Rossi (plus Crash 'not allowed characters') - Rossi 4 of his 5 wins.

Actually JB repeated it in an extensive interview away after Rossis Yamaha switch.
That was well into the fourstroke era. They are obviously pretty academic figures and meant to explain the difference between car and bike racing.
Whatever you can say about the setup of the machine, when the red lights go out it's the rider that does the racing. The same rider that is supposed to give the feedback needed for development and setup of the machines.

I'd bet it was still true for the 990s, probably a little less true for the 800's although it's obvious the rider still plays a major role since the same guys are up front all the time.

Was kind of a boring race, but it was nice to see Val catch Pedrosa. Would have been even more boring had that not happened. Sad to see Jorge go down, hope he doesn't have too many offs like that this season. I still think he's the heir to Rossi's throne. I don't know if he will win as many championships, but I think he will have many fans and be entertaining and fast like Rossi is.

He even calls the Yamaha a Yamaka like Rossi did when he first switched teams. :p

Hi everyone....

Just wanna make sure that does anyone feel anything suspicious bout why rossi's M1 can be so that damn powerful ??

Just think it for a moment...
From the fact that we had already know, rossi's M1 speed can't match with Honda RCV212 and Ducati Desmocedici right? Why after rossi managed to get past them, both of the Honda and Ducati can't chase him back anymore? This also include the situation in the straight line. How bout that?

Why after managed to past them (H&D), rossi M1 can become extremly fast? If u say that is rossi skill, i realy have a big doubt bout that..

Just send a feedback to me ok?
Want to know ur opinion?
