I think ducati will be using the break to think about who is going to be riding their bike next year. It makes stoners efforts even more commendable when you see the positions of the other dukes. Hats off to him.

As much as I like you Nicky you are a square in a round hole called Stoner. He is the only man that can get anything out of this mad bike and I would bet huge amounts of money that even Rossi couldn't make your bike work. Is Melandri a rubbish rider?, no, are you a rubbish rider?, no. Stoner on the duke is like the devil riding out, this bike bites bums except his.Stoner is a Ducati genius, it really is as simple as that!

never mind nicky when marco gets a good ride next year you can take the Hayate seat and be the last nail in kawasakis coffin in motogp. hayden doesn't have the heart or ability to do what marco is doing on that bike end of story

I suspect that Hayden doesn't get the same kind of treatment unlike Stoner's case. I thought Hayden should take a leaf out of the Melandri's experience (pathetic Ducati time) and start apply pressure on Ducati. By now, we all saw how Melandri kept bringing those results on a KAWASAKI. So, Hayden must wake up and make the Ducati guys to smell the Coffee

It's up to Livio Suppo and the team, couse Melandri couldn't handle GP8, Capirossi had a problems with GP7 even though his commitment in developing the bike, Canepa can't handle GP8, Barros did something and after Mugello '07 podium somebody had cut his good intentions. Now Hayden can't handle GP9, Kallio could but now something goes in strange way. Gibber?? maybe if he can catch his past riding skill...Even Stoner is a "god" onboard Desmosedici the construction had some weak points at it's core.

In my opinion Nicky won't deliver any good results on that Ducati and somehow I hope it won't end in similar season as Melandri's 2008. People hoped that Nicky's aggressive riding stile will tame the beast but it's not the case.

in racing you always get riders that suit certain bikes and nickys match was the 990 honda. the ducati seems to be a bike which relies more on electronics to control it than the others, but this doesnt mean its a bad bike or that stoner is any better than hayden just that stoner and the duke gell and he is able to get most from it.
