Rossi already outperformed all the closed circuit champs, so the only argument the nay sayers have is that he doesn't dare to break his neck on streetcircuits.
That and the numerical difference between him and Ago, who was half of the time on superior equipment.
Valentino mastered 125,250,500,800 , 990 fours and 1000 twin (at Suzuka)
and switched brands.
That list alone should shut people up.

I think he can do it! Last year he did it and this year I see no reason why it should be different. One thing is for sure, Vale is going to do everything to be able to celebrate his 100th victory at Mugello.

It hasn't taken him long to reach 98 wins either. Ago took longer and he was riding an MV works bike against 'over the counter' single cylinder Nortons.

And if not at Mugello, maybe at Assen where I will be. I'd love to attend this 100th win party. Will be a cracker!

I think Rossi will do it. But Stoner will be on the podium at both tracks and looking forward to racing on his favoured tracks, which is most of the rest bar Portugal.

Now that he found the missing piece of his bike settings to work with the tire in Jerez, theres a big chance that Rossi can get this.
Good luck Mr. Rossi, I do hope the time wont be against him, like what had happen in Qatar and motegi.

Personally, I can't see him reaching the record of that other vain Italian, which will obviously mean that he won't be the GOAT as many wrongly claim. Maybe he could just be the Llama instead?

Last year Casey got beat more often than not at his favourite tracks. It will be a tough call for Rossi to win the next two races as the competition will be doing everything they can to stop him, but I think Stoner/Ducati already know they need snookers this year...going to be a long hard season for Ducati expect to see Casey run out of fuel as they desperately turn the power up on the gp9 to try and beat the Yamahas and hondas..you heard it here first..
Goo Rossi, Go Marco!!!

Bob, he may not be able to reach the other grate Ago, but this is not about that record, rahter its about his 100th... which is clearly imminent, and again, nice try to discred VR or Ago, you must be so miserable with vain Italians keep doing better than your favs.... so let me put you out of your miseary, it is highly unlikely that any of your current fav riders could even come close to either of these records across the classes mentioned... :p

Bob B,
At last, now I can relax with the knowledge that you are a rather dull (but pure) wind up merchant.
Or so sick in the head that it doesn't matter.
You had me for a while almost drove me from all forums, -Mills and Boon?-
Enough time spent.
