Respect to Dani Pedrosa!! How did he managed to finsih with this tyre, let alone snatch podium position number 3?? And let' s not forget he could hardly bend his leg... That guy is really something!! He didn' t even moan about it later (and he would have any right to do so). RESPECT !!

Now there's a surprise, a Bridgestone investigation into a problem with a Bridgestone tyre found that it wasn't Brodgestones fault.

Wow,just look at the state of that tyre! Anyone who can complete a race, let alone gain a podium with that underneath them has my total respect.220bhp,200mph and a tyre like that, very brave.(I wonder how many other untold stories like this lie behind what appears to be a poor performance on the day by other riders?)They just say "I had a problem with the front" you're not kidding!

'A foreign object worked its way out' Well, some sort of secretion I suspect :D

If something "worked it's way to the surface"as Bridgestone admitted, during the race, then surely it's pretty clear it was there before the race.A quality control problem, and full marks to Bridgestone for making it public.Debris doesn't "make its way to the surface",it's there immediately when the tyre runs over it...Simples ckkk.

Sounds to me like Bridgestone are being deliberately vague.

They could mean something piercing the rubber (and being embedded) then working its way back out days/hours/minutes later, or it could mean something that was embedded when the tyre was made coming out.

A simple case of tread contamination. Imagine a big cake mixer mixing the top sponge for your great big fairy cake? Well now imagine someone adding a few currents, that you do not like at all! Try pushing this mix through a confined space that gives it its shape(extruder die)What you come out with is a bunch of hidden currents that make you want to spit it out because you did'nt expect it to be in there. Bridgestone need to remember that house keeping in the factory is the 1st priority of health safety and production consistency. :p

A competitor paid the umbrella girl to sneak a needle into the tyre on the grid... it worked its way up during the race... hmmm.

I hope this lack of quality control is not as a result of the loss of michelin competition, and doesn't lead to a repeat of the infamous exploding tire nakano incident!
