Valentino Rossi, Good job champion, it's ok, anybody knows the type of race (wet or wet/dry) is your weakness! So far the weather was not in favor of you, out of 5 races only jerez was really dry, and you got a victory there. Hope it will be dry in most upcoming races so you can counter the situation... Go Valentino Rossi! Go Champion! We always love you!

Some of you fanboys are ridiculous. The guy finished 3rd - not 13th! That's still a great result. All this talk about sacking anyone for a 3rd place finish is a bit over the top. Rossi isn't going to win EVERY race - get over it. He had a great ride today.

I cant wait for a real sopping full wet race. To give a chance for the guys with sh@$te bikes like Melandri and Capirex.
If the track had stayed wet who knows if one of them could have won.

Nobody wins the MotoGP Championship in May......

Yes nobody wins the championship in may... but at the end it will be Valentino Rossi! Go Champion!

it seems that if you don't win you should just say you suck otherwise some people here would call you a whiner.

By the same token if Casey was sulking the way Valentino was today at the press conference, most Rossi fans would be calling Casey "a cry baby," "moaner." Should we start calling Rossi "Valentino Moaner" "Crybaby Rossi?" Let us not forget these are competitors at the highest level. Seven time moto cross champion Bob Hannah said, "if you are a racer with out an ego you ain't s--t." If anyone of them were content to come in second, we would not have much of a series.

Not sure if it applies to wet races but don't the riders/teams have to pick the tyres for the next race a few hours after the previous race? So they choose the tyres two weeks before the race... it's a rediculous rule!

Can anyone enlighten me?
