When Rossi loses , it's never because another rider is better than him that day...it' s always the tires, the weather, the stars...

Fiat Yamaha has defended its decision to send Valentino Rossi out on a hard compound front slick, which looked to cost the Italian his eighth home Mugello victory in a row.

I must confess that im a Rossi fan and yes reasons are always given when he loses but truth be told, when everything is working fine, he is a master class. Besides what even made it worse for rossi is that this is his home race and he would have loved to have a fighting chance. You could see in his eyes how disappointed and frustrated he was....but the current trend of rainy races has me worried coz his side of the garage seems to have problems in switching bikes. But i will keep my fingers crossed

Rossi Finished !!!!! Lol what a joke, seems to be a popular saying here on crash about riders being finished......People said it about Casey and what I see is 1 wt 1 runner up and now leading the wt with Rossi only 9 points away and Jorge in the middle with only 5 races gone and I wish Dani was there as well to make it a great 4 way battle....Rossi is by no way finished , nor is Casey. In fact there are 17 riders out there who are not finished, but are out there giving it their best, not for the idiotic armchair critics, but for real people who enjoy MOTOGP.... and as for you agree/disagree button pushes, whats up your wrist and arm get tired so all you got left is your finger :? :?

The proof of Rossi rely on electronics more than anyone else on the grid.

Most people here react way too emotional and direct on the outcome of a race,
try seeing it as a championship that lasts a whole season :p
If Stoner wins a race it doesn't mean that the others are finished. Nor that he is world champion. And the other way round.

Zydon: what the **** are you on laughing gas again? :p

The clue is once Melandri get by Rossi, it confirmed what I was suspected for the last season how Rossi used the electronics. I would not explain, it's a secret to beat Yamaha. You even can beat Ben Spies on SBK Yamaha R1 by knowing this secret. :p

Let just say now I know why Mugello was the ground base for Catalunya setting for Rossi's M1.

So, let the best riders use their skills and talent to beat Rossi because likely they also know about this secret a bit at a time as the season goes. Lorenzo seem one of the riders that smart enough to figure it out.

zydon, what are you talking about? Are you on drugs...

Anyway, I am not a huge Rossi fan but I didn't see anything wrong with his behaviour after the race. I saw him talking and having a laugh with Casey on the podium. I also thought his interview after the race was OK.

hope - if Rossi were to blame his wrist for his lack of a race win would you deem it more acceptable?
