When Rossi loses , it's never because another rider is better than him that day...it' s always the tires, the weather, the stars...

On the electronics thing Zydon is correct, the Yamaha is far and away the most sophisticated bike on the grid.

Last year as the season progressed it was Valentinos bike only but I think this year we can assume that Jorge has similar.

Don't know about Tech 3, last year they were similar to Jorge, this year I don't know yet.

*** This is for dummies. If you're not, don't read ***

Rossi's dependencies to rider aids that race has cost a couple of valuable items.

1. The top spot.
2. Expose Yamaha's 'programming' like an open book.

Probably, he was too long substitute tire handling with rider aids since 2003. His weakness was tire handling.

I hate him when he made my favorite bike's secrets get exposed. Why he doesn't mastered the tire management after so long riding as a multiple world champion?

I think what Zydon may be getting at is that it's no great secret that Rossi was the first rider in Moto GP to use traction control right back in his Honda 990 days. This was the knowledge that himself and JB took from Honda to Yamaha and turned the Yamaha into the dominant force in motorcycle racing that Honda used to be. It's all a bit deep really and goes way further that Rossi winning a few world titles to be honest.

And Zydon, if you are genuinely involved with all this stuff and do genuinely know things, then you shouldn't be on here posting in public mate, it's not the place for it.

what i want to know is why the riders dont come down pit lane doing side saddle? they could leap off the bike much quicker that way and save themselves a good half second...

Good thinking Tim :p
Rossi does a side saddle but only as victory celebration :)
Next year they only have one bike, it'll all be different then. They'll probably jump off while still moving, throw it in the arms of the mechanics while actuating a quick release system that makes the wheels pop off automatically :p
