For Samas.

Yes, I agree that they only have one thing in common. And Marco does have talent. But Nicky has a MotoGP Championship (luck or not). At the end of the day and years down the road, he will always be a World Champion.

Nicky Hayden scores exactly the same points as struggling Ducati predecessor Marco Melandri, when comparing same five rounds.

You are right, MotoGP bikes need a degree of T.C. to be rideable (in a competitive sense).

It's the "pin it in the middle of the corner and hang on" that's just plain bullsh*t.

Stoner was questioned about T.C. at the beginning of the year "It's only used to stop the tire from full on smoking up and to stop some of the big high sides". Edwards-"if you use a lot of T.C. you go nowhere".

Anyone who doesn't believe the riders only needs to go to a race, the top guys regularly have the rear 40cm or more out from the front on the exit of corners.

This requires wheel spin and throttle control

I also believed the media spin on TC until I went to the track

You're absolutely right. Tha's a fact in racing. "If you use a lot of TC you go nowhere" period.
And you know why? The best ""electronic"" part on a bike is still the rider!

Moreover, do you know which rider uses more TC or any part of his electronic than anybody?
Dani Pedrosa. Everybody knows it in the motogp paddock.

Kallio's telemetry showed Casey was on the throttle 10(some 30 feet) metres earlier than him in a specific corner... By your analysis Kallio must only be full throttle when he's 1/2 way done the straight...

I wouldn't believe for one second that duc aren't doing their utmost to make the bike rideable for Hayden. Their limited access to actually riding/testing the bike should be reviewed according to their success on the track. This could only be in the best interest for closer racing. As it is, the lack of time isn't helping the 'also rans'.
As for Hopkins, what more can be said about the snotty little 'never was'. And, he'll never set WSBK on fire as long as his ar5e points to the ground. How well did he do on the duc? Oh that's right, he didn't ride one did he?

How he done that?

Shouldn't he get a high-side like Pedrosa?

Is he using 2-stroke engine inside his Ducati?

theres alot more to the nicky/marco/ducati problem than meets the eye. apparently marco said ducati wouldnt listen to his comments about bike changes and always went with what computers and telemetry were saying, if this is true then stoner must be a electronics robot (jerry burgess comment) and nicky is screwed.

Yes you are right, Kallio says that comparing the telemetry, Stoner is on the gas 10 meters earlier than he is.

He also said that Stoner is slower than he is at the point that the throttle is opened.

Kallio also said he is still taking his '125' lines around the corner, which would probably mean that Stoner squares the corner off somewhat.

I'm not an expert, but I've done a lot of racing and bike modification. Unless I'm sure of something, I use the words 'I think' or 'I reckon' or 'probably'

Hey Monster,

Some of us have raced at national level and above, perhaps you should stick to riding your bike aroudn the playground

40cm out of line? sure, tehy can ride like that, but if you notice the motogp boys do not, because going sideways is not going forwards.
