LOL. Hayden and Stoner won in 2006 and 2007. I guess it's better late than never, huh? I thought bike racing was king in Spain - not F1? But they said Hamilton already has his plaque - and the Spanish hate Hamilton because of the internal spat with Alonso at McLaren.

I hope this turns out to be a long battle with these guys as I suspect it will be. They are all very talented.

some1, how is that a spiking statement? Seems more like a foolish statement to me, leading now means quite a lot I would say. On the other hand weve seen the race Stoner won the BMW award, tell me, how much did that practice mean after the race?

Nobody hates Stoner because he beat Rossi, Rossi got his own back with interest last year when Casey fell apart. Nobody hates JL or DP when they beat Rossi either. Nearly everyone involved in the sport dislikes him because of what he says and has said.. Jesus how hard can it be to understand that.??

Oh...my...god. Do some of you just sit around all day reloading your browsers waiting for the slightest opportunity to twist what Stoner says into something negative. Seriously, from a normal persons point of view, you sound like nutcases.

I can't imagine how anyone could see a negative here. Of course he wants to make sure he's always within striking distance of his main rivals, but actually being the one who's leading at this point is largely irrelevant, and that's all he said. Should he feel any safer with a 4 point lead compared to a 1 point deficit?

Scoot, Stoner isn't a weasel because he beat Rossi on the contrary he's a weasel because of his actions like giving the finger to Melandri during practices last year or complaining about tough passes or pushing to avoid other riders from getting Bridgestone tires or his tirades. This is what makes him a punk weasel not him beating someone in a race.
