They don't air it here in the states any more (used to catch it on Speedvision channel on a show called Motorsport Mondial - great show, they'd show WRC, Isle of Man TT, and various other cool motorsports on that show). I always enjoyed watching it, but I agree that the real racers must be crazy. I think they all have a death wish or something!!

I was lucky yesterday Jack to catch a 1hr special on BBC4. It showed the good points of the TT. Plenty of interviews with the riders etc.
The Bummer is the way Steve "Stavros" Parish is given the worst questions to ask. Parish is years better than the Kn0b he is on Tv. He asked Vale if he (Vale) had ever watched the TT?!!!! Vale answered with "On Dvd and Tv, yes".
Vale was on edge (and rightly so) everytime a bike came blasting past less than 5 feet away from him and Ago.
The Only thing that was a sickener was Vale, under contract I assume, had to wander around in his leathers like a goon when he would've prefered to wear his own gear. The beat and the bullpoop is the price of fame eh?

Valentino was only in his leathers for the podium when he gave the trophy to McGuiness because he was then setting off straight after on a parade lap with Agostini, in his leathers after as well to meet other riders, but he was in casuals watching the race.

It's great to see Rossi attending what is the greatest series of true road races in the world. I've been around the mountain course and it's hard to imagine averaging a lap at over 130 mph! The best riders aren't crazy, just have a real passion for true road racing. I hope no one dies this year.

Two good Balls did he say, does he have any, what a joke sad letting him ride the track closed. If you don't have the BALLS to race it, ride it like the rest us when the roads are open. :p

You are mixing two things. Those guys are brave and very fast on TT, but they cannot match even close to Vale on safe track. Don't get me wrong, I admire DJ over all.
