Good job, but let's see if the changes keeps him in the top 10 for qualifying and the race - hopefully it will........

Maybe now we'll see the real difference between Hayden and Melandri,..................heart!

By this time last year, Melandri has basically thrown in the towel and started moaning. Nicky is keeping his head down and not giving up, and he won't give up.

The same thing won him a world title, not luck or any of the other cr@p posted on here. The guy is a true sportsman and a credit to the sport.

I dearly hope more than anything that he has a good run on Sunday, a productive test on Monday, and can get back near the pointy end on a regular basis.

Guareschi did the setup work, which is impressive, but why couldn't he manage to so the same last year for Marco you have to ask?

Maybe this will shut some of the Hayden Basher's on here up. Good to see them righting the ship.

Worth watching the end of todays practice, Nicky's smile a mile long...despite what he said about it 'only being friday,' the smile gave away the bigger picture.

Fantastic!! Way to go Nicky. You know this guy gives it everthing. He lives on his emotions and says it how it is. I just love the way he talks to Suzy Perry when she interviews him!!!Lets hope she can interview him on the podium on Sunday.

Go Nicky, brilliant news, you deserve it.
Capitalise on every element of what you've got now and your true grit will see you through.

It'll be great to see the two Ducatis mixing it up with Rossi and Lorenzo its long overdue.

Stay cool about the progress, as you've said lets not get carried away, it's only Friday but lets see a good grid position for Sunday.
