Once again Rossi proves his detractors wrong. Old? Washed up? Finished? Has been? Yeah, sure.

This could be the start of a roll for Rossi, if he wins the next two or three and the others are inconsistent he might open a gap that may decide things. Jorge looks good though and this could go all the way to Valencia.
When it comes down to the dying laps in a close race, Rossi's the man.

What an awesome race, my heart was pounding like a good un.

that is edge of the seat stuff & Blimey we all wanted to see it, I must say I could'nt make my mind up if it was gonna be Rossi or Lorenzo, obviously I wanted Rossi to win & win he did.

Lorenzo & rossi was just in a league of their own today & the Doctor came out on top & for me really should shut up all the no brainers who come on here posting trash about Rossi.

These 2 guys in this yamaha team are great.

Well done to you Vale and hopefuly dry in Assen & No 100 on its way.

:)THERE IS NO ONE TO BEAT VALLI WHEN IT COMES TO DOG FIGHT

HE REALLY NEEDED THIS WIN .HE LIKES TO BEAT HIS OPPONENT IN THEIR HOME TERRITORY.THATS A HUGE PSYCOLOGICAL ADVANTAGE FOR 4 VALLI.THERE IS NO ONE TO BEAT VALLI WHEN IT COMES TO MIND GAME...AND PURE HARDCORE RACING.....WOOOOO WHAT A RACE

LORENZO U R FANTASTIC ... THE 2ND BEST RIGHT NOW IN MOTOGP . WAY WAY AHEAD OF STONER THE MOANER. ATLEAST LORENZO WAS HONEST ...HE SAID ROSSI WAS BRAVER THAN HIM ...IN THE LAST CORNER AND HE COULDNT CLOSE THE LINE... I WONDER IF THIS WAS CASEY ...HE WOULD HAVE BLAMED EVERYTHING FROM THE TYRE TO THE DOG PEEING IN THE STREET. !!!!

COMON LORENZO..WELCOME TO THE CLUB .. U R THE FUTURE WHEN ROSSI RETIRES

Sir Frank did Ago also do it in a deerstalker.. please, in those days you could win f1 and motogp, you could also play for your country at cricket and football in the same season... you have to try a bit harder to do one of these now...Now if Rossi was at a track day at knockhill with his motogp bike that would be comparable to Ago... Qudos to Ago for beating someone on the same bike for a couple of seasons but please....

I would agree it was a dirty pass!!! YOU MORON, DID LORENZO SIT UP? NO. DID LORENZO HAVE TO ALTER HIS LINE? NO. DID LORENZO COMPLAIN AFTER THE RACE? NO. YOU ARE SO STUPID I DON'T KNOW WHY I RISE TO IT. It was a fantastic race. People are criticizing Stoner, the man was not fully fit but still hung on to third place, what more do you want? A true credit to Moto GP, lets hope all the other races are held in the dry.

Sir Frank Williams do you really know your history? Honda wanted Hailwood at end of 1965 to race their new 500/4 instead of jim redman. He didn't leave because Ago was beating him! Hailwood had six straight 500 wins in 1965 beating Ago on every occasion to become world champion.

What a race and what a champ! Vale is amazing but how about Lorenzo, certainly going to be the best once Vale is gone. Stoner always has excuses and it is only because his bike is fast that is why he was a one time champion. When Stoner was in the same position last year he kept on cracking under the pressure and should take notes from young Lorenzo who was supperb. Vale you are the G.O.A.T nothing else to say. And to F1....eat this!!!!
