Once again Rossi proves his detractors wrong. Old? Washed up? Finished? Has been? Yeah, sure.

Reality bites! How exactly was that a dirty move. I would love you to explain on this forum. Looked good to me. Rossi's 30 and he's still able to take it to the youngest riders.Give the guy credit where its due. He has none of the advantages that you hatters always said he had in his hey day so please post honest comments on here and give him some respect.

Rossi showed why he is the greatest, like Hamilton he can pull off passes that no other of this generation can live with.

It was also so important to see him beat Lorenzo at his home track, while he was wearing FCB colours, Nationalism is odious and never more so than in the top corner of Spain.

Nice one Vale.

Such a shame to see that only after 1 page of comments this section has turned into a mud-flinging contest.

people forget that lorenzo was very fast last year until high siding in china so its no suprise that he is fighting for the championship, but it only takes one mistake and it is all over

Lorenzo is making Rossi work for his money!

I would agree that it was a dirty pass but there was no contact and Lorenzo didn't go off track. If anything this was the cleanest pass I have seen Rossi do under so much pressure.
You don't leave an open gap with Rossi right behind and expect him not to slide thru, lol. Even Lorenzo admitted he shouldn't have left it open.

But the war is not over yet.

We'll see at the next race.

GO LORENZO!!! GO ROSSI!!! GO STONER!!!

Six pages in 5 mins when he wins, 4 comments in a few hours when he losses.

Why, because the Rossi fanboys have no interest in the sport other than Rossi winning, and like their hero himself, they don't care how he does it as long as they get to gloat afterwards.

But then their behaviour only mirrors that of their "hero", totally self-centered and no respect for others.

Ago the goat?? Great in his day and most wins but if Rossi had the advantages he had it'd be called cheating... go and watch some old races.
Great race from both Yams,,... Casey is as sorry a sight as I have seen in a long time. Reckon he went to his mum before his misses after that one.. jeez..

Reality bites - you say

"The best man today was defeated by the dirty rider. Lorenzo out-rode and out-smarted Rossi today and was only beaten by a dangerous and dirty move by a desperate man."

Opinion seems to be divided on this - you say dirty rider and everyone else in the world says brilliant and fearless racer.

Try to love the sport - it's more important than the individuals - today you were treated to an exceptional scrap by two phenomenal riders - if you like bike racing, then just be happy you saw this spectacle.

Vale is most definately today's superstar , suspect Jorge will have his day ( but probably not this year)

"I wasn't expecting him to take me at that point but he was more courageous than me and deserved the win," Lorenzo said.
