Did Casey ONCE congratulate Jorge or Valentino today on TV? Has Casey EVER said he is beaten by the better rider after a loss like that? Jorge does.

I watched it on the BBC, on Eurosport and I watched the press talk too. Not one word, why?

This is why Stoner is disliked so much, sadly.

A truly wonderful talent ruined by a bad sportsman attitude.

Either way, he won't win another world championship again - he doesn't have a 16 km/h advantage and one litre extra fuel economy to play with.

MOTOGP » 'Dead' Stoner clings to podium

For the first nine laps of Sunday’s Grand Prix of Catalunya, Casey Stoner matched the Fiat Yamahas of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo blow-for-blow at the front of the field.

Ermmm, Rossi won today, so why would his fans be bitter?

great question mate ive asked myself the same thing, now go read all the stoner and agostini bashing since the race by rossi fanboys and explain to me what bitterness is if that isnt it,
its funny how casey fans are acknowledging a great win by vale, lorenzo fans are calling rossi over the hill but rossi fans still only have eyes for stoner

Okay, interesting bunch of comments here. If not for Stoner and Lorenzo it would be another Rossi procession (it is good to see him actually have to race to win!). I bet Lorenzo does not like Rossi much considering the way he treats his team mate. Difference between stoner and Lorenzo? Stoner tells you what he is thinking, it seems some people here cant fathom that idea. Personally I think stoner did well to make the podium presentation and the post race analysis. I thought he was going to throw up! Rossi is not making many friends on the circuit, but he does not have too, he is by far the most arrogant out there and appeals to the lowest form of Motogp fans. JL to beat RV this year

... not a Stoner fan.

Come on people, all you have to do is look at Stoner in the press session. He looked like crap and was obviously not himself. Anyone who thinks that is drama is just being bitter and ignorant.

3rd on a Ducati while you're ill is an awesome accomplishment.

Did anyone notice that there is a three way tie for first in the WC? Stoner happens to be part of that tie. What does it take for these racers to get the respect they deserve?

Impressive effort from Stoner, and no signs of anything lacking in bike set up that was present in Practice and qualy. To the person who suggested Rossi hugged GL on the podium, it looked to me like it was definately initiated from Georges side, and I haven't seen a gesture like this from Rossi to George yet this year. George is in his head without a doubt and showing admirable sportsmanship. Being an Aussie, Stoner is just Stoner and I'm happy in the fact that he is his biggest critic. He'll win again and he'll be criticised again, and without a doubt, Rossi will brood again. Great season so far? Hell yes. One make tyre rule? Quite possibly. Rossi odds on favorite? No f'ing way! Hahahahaha

Stoners problem(apart from his attitude which is childish) is his riding style. Trying to do it on physically mustling the bike alne has took it's toll on a guy who is usually incredibly fit. He lacks the shere skill of JL, DP and Rossi.
Both CS and JL have all the pressure now. JL has told Rossi he is going to get it at the next race. And everyone has been waiting for the Casey tracks, he won the next 3 last season... Expect Rossi to win 2 of them.. Casey looks like he's falling apart again..
