Did Casey ONCE congratulate Jorge or Valentino today on TV? Has Casey EVER said he is beaten by the better rider after a loss like that? Jorge does.

I watched it on the BBC, on Eurosport and I watched the press talk too. Not one word, why?

This is why Stoner is disliked so much, sadly.

A truly wonderful talent ruined by a bad sportsman attitude.

Either way, he won't win another world championship again - he doesn't have a 16 km/h advantage and one litre extra fuel economy to play with.

MOTOGP » 'Dead' Stoner clings to podium

For the first nine laps of Sunday’s Grand Prix of Catalunya, Casey Stoner matched the Fiat Yamahas of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo blow-for-blow at the front of the field.

He wasn't sick he was dehydrated. Silly boy needs to drink a little water when it's hot out and work on his fitness some more. Race fans don't care about excuses save those for your boss and wife.

Firstly let me say that as what would essentially be classed as a "paddy", I can't help but notice that the English generally seem to have a big problem with Aussies or anything Australian. Is it because everyone was initially shipped out there as punishment yet it became pretty much everything that we all wish the British Isles could be (but never will). Nice weather, great lifestyle, even their PM seems a pretty decent bloke dammit!

Anyway, as I commented a few races ago, Caseys nightmare season continues,...................except that he's now tying for the lead in the championship!!!!

If things start going right for him and Ducati what will happen then???????

yeh Dr sydney we hear in OZ know all about that terrible affliction, biggest problem is its highly contageous our football team fans suffered from it last world cup when Italy knocked us out, i remember VR catching it a few yrs back... spat the dummy when biaggi beat him one race but recovered, caught it again when gibernau beat him in a race but he recovered again, and a third more severe bout when casey beat him in 07, JL showed symptoms of it by trying to punch a hole through his tank at jerez...
yup it does get around, down here the best antitode is to watch the aussies wallop the poms in the ashes(cricket) and from their moaning about the loss gauge how pathetic it really is :p

First of all stoner was NOT sick. No flu, bug or ate too much paella.

He may have been sick to his stomach wondering how much longer his luck would last (a lo Kenlucky) and seeing his rivals school him... no longer with the fastest bike that does everything.. So, yeah.. not sleeping well and depressed... still.. it is good result for a broken man.
