So many Sunday Armchair racers on here. None of which probably even ride a motorcycle, much less taken one on a track at or even near the speeds these GP bikes. I tell you one thing, if I'm doing a track day and my clip on feels "kind of loose," I'm not finishing my session. I'm pitting and figuring it out. These guys don't have that option. They put their lives on the line because it's their job to get results. Hayden is doing his best to get that bike working and last time I checked, other than Stoner, Hayden is the next best. And it's not like he's Melandri, languishing in last place every race. Hayden gets better and better.

NH sez - big mistake but everybody left it all out on the track today and we all shook hands afterwards ......

that is enough - we need more respect and manhood in this sport ( at least on fan's side of things )

Hayden may not be able to match Casey on the track but he is getting pretty close in the lame excuses catergory.

I think maybe him and Casey have a team meeting before race weekend to cook them all up. Hayden now has had his wonky handle bar to add to his lack of testing time and he has also got his chief mechanic sacked because he can not speak red neck. I what he will pull out the excuse book next race I wonder?

best news of the round. #69 is a great example of a kid taught to respect others and never give up. i was following that battle all race and couldn't help but wonder why these battles only seem to happen mid pack or behind???
anyway, excuses or not i hope #69 uses this as a platform for further improvements. #69 isn't matching #27 on track at the moment but he is light years ahead in terms of sportsmanship... unfortunately #69's behavior is just a bit more australian!

Last year, Stoner's bike got lose parts during a few races. Now, it happened on Hayden's bike too. I guess, that enough to tell the quality of Dorothy's bikes. Oops! I mean Ducati... :p

I hope he turns a corner. Having said that I do not expect him to do well in the tight Laguna

loose handlebars? :? it's like they dont know about thread locker!

it amazes me that at the top level of motorsport they allow such stupid little technical errors to happen.

same sort of stupid sh*t has happened to spies more than a few times this season alone!

Captain excuse book.

You are of course foregeting last year when Hayden blamed everything apart from himself for his poor results on the Honda, his team mate, his team mates manager, his passport, dorna, repsol....

Fact is though is that Hayden has not been able to make the switch to 800's and he will blame anyone but himself for this.
