Dark horse for me next weekend, never had much luck here,
5th in '06 and '07, DNS in '08 but I bet he is eager to get back into the battle,

Go Dani!

Stop ditching the bike in the dirt would be a great start.

He didn't look to be limping after the get off but I don't reckon he will be a factor Sunday. There are a few of the Euro riders that tend to mail in their rides at Leguna while Chris the V seems to revel in the challenge. I look for Lorenzo to be pushing hard

Have to agree with you, It's a strange thing for him to say considering his past results there.

Generally speaking, the more a rider likes a track the faster he is on it.

I just hope he doesn't bin it again, we need him back fighting at the front.

On behalf of Nicky Hayden, I have disagreed 69 times to Morgue's posts supporting Dani... which is approved 3 times. Ain't that funny? :D :D :D

I don't know where you have got Pedrosa's figures from for Laguna but they are a bit out.

Pedrosa got a 2nd place in 06, and also set the fastest lap, which was a pretty good result as it was his rookie season and he had not seen the track before. His 5th in 07 whilst not a great result was reasonable considering the troubles Michelin was in. In 08 he was injured and never rode there so that says little on his Laguna form.

I agree with your post though that he will be a dark horse in Laguna and is due a good result as he seems to be returning to some kind of fitness.

GoNickyGo, not to bad, it would have more funny if it was something you made up yourself rather than following the latest trend.

What was really funny though was Hayden and all he sycophantic fans going on last year about how Hayden's dirt tracking style and aggression was going to tame the Duke and he was going to kick Pedrosa's ass. How that turned out was really funny...

Pedrosa provides a fascinating contribution to MotoGP. He is one of the very quickest and his ultra-small size is unique and fun to watch.

I fear that his days at HRC are numbered and that his past and ongoing crashes will ultimately cause his early retirement.
