CE is better than JT

I'd love to see Colin stay... he's such a great personality on and off the track. To me, MotoGP would be even more 'dull' with out him.

I really can't see why Yamaha Tech 3 would let CE go since there's no one they can realistically get who'd do better. CE's been consistent for years... Although he's not getting podiums, at least he up near the front.

Keep the tornado! If anyone on that team goes, it should be JT (although I have nothing against JT).

As the best satellite rider, there is no reason why he should not remain in Motogp. Heck, he is even ahead of some factory riders. What's out there for Satellite Teams to go after....3 names....Simoncelli is signed, Spies may stay in WSBK (Stars are align for him to be ahead pretty soon)and Bautista is probably not on everyone list and may not even secure a Motogp ride. Next year with the new rules getting more stingy with the bikes, preservation is something does Colin does well when riding and maybe he will put some points towards a Manufacturers quest to be top dog. I say he deserve it as he was able to build his bike with the crew he has to get him this far. Not many builders out there.

Have I missed something here? is each rider only allowed one bike next year? How's that going to work in a flag to flag race (or are they scrapping that)? And what happens if there's a pile up in the free practice before the race and say, 5 bikes are involved that can't be repaired in time for the race! Plus quite often the two bikes they run have different settings (one wet, one dry) I know they're cutting back on the numbers of engines per season etc to keep costs down but SURELY they won't have a one bike per rider rule?

I think they've dropped the one bike per rider proposition as its unworkable, in a 'flag to flag' race like we've had a couple of times this year for instance plus if you crash in practice and destroy a bike like Camier did at Donington the whole race weekend is stuffed.

He has been around a long, long time hasn't he, and not a huge amount to show for it....time he moved on?

Can't keep giving him a ride cos he's a 'nice guy and makes people laugh', his performance come the race never really matches the big talk beforehand...

4th last time out, top satellite rider, 5th in the Championship, about as good as anyone can hope for with the equipment available.

i've called for colin's head a few times but there a plenty of riders under him that should go first elias for one he has put in a good year with some good results sure no podiums but besides the top 3 not many stand up there anyway
