Being handcuffed is just an American expression I would not try to read too much into it.

However I'm begining to worry about my lovely son. When you have to resort to "less than a second off sixth" to come up with a positive statement I would think you are in a bit of trouble....

Colin Edwards led the American challenge during Friday practice for the US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca, but ninth position was far below his expectations.

Intriguing that Nakajima is still putting so much time and effort into working on a setup solution for Toseland.

Perhaps with all Yamaha's other hugely expensive commitments for next year (Rossi, Lorenzo, Spies), they just can't afford to reject the Dorna cash for JT's ride, hence the extra effort to bring him up to pace?

Just some wordplay referring to Edwards' recent acting role as a security guard, I think.

"less than a second off sixth"

yeah, that's a pretty weak statement. They could have left that off the article.

To JT"s mum, why don"t you give your son a slap, it"s what every competative parent should do if their offspring is falling behind.

Nakajima is wasting his time. Has there been a bigger failure or disappointment than Jame Toseland?
