Congratulations to Dani on a great ride
I thought Rossi had him for a moment there
Good to see Lorenzo battling with injury and Stoner seemed to keep it together
A great race
Bring on Sachsenring :)

On Lorenzo passing Rossi: maybe Jorge looked a bit impatient, trying to pass Rossi too soon. But on the other hand Jorge got an excellent drive out of the previous right hander, so knowing Rossi might have had something up his sleeve, I guess he just went for it at the first occassion.

Jorge managing to stay upright after outbraking himself on that move was a truly amazing save. BBC-commentator Steve Parrish was right, I think, when he stated that Jorge might have crashed if he had not been injured. Jorge's braking was so delicate due to his injury. In good shape, he would have easily lost the front in that last corner move.

Amazing performance from Jorge and Dani, considering their injuries and a relentless pursuit of the win from Valentino, impressive! Although I'm a big fan of "The G.O.A.T" I'm pleased that Valentino didn't nick it at the end,as I think Dani's ride deserved the win, faultless.Unlike some of the unfortunate riders,MotoGP looks very healthy to me,good to see.

Great race Dani, you looked very impressive. Good to see you smiling again.

Too bad Jorge was too eager, would have loved to see him getting closer to Valentino in the championship again.

Feel sad for Casey. He's really suffering now that the bike is improving. And Nicky... Well done dude. Must feel great to be back in front again.

Too bad Hayate made the decision to fix up the crash-bike of the morning warm-up and put it in race, because it backfired for Marco. He could have done better than he did now.

And James.... What happened dude? Well... at least you did something that not many have done before you. So you achieved something unique in MotoGP.

Why aren't there any positive comments about my sons band Crash playing at a special event the day before the race?? They played some lovely songs and I hear the management at yamaha were really pleased!!!

There are more important things than racing you know! :-o

Yes, Hayden was again lucky. He finished 5th out of 12 riders. Though, much to his merit, on a factory bike, was able to qualify 8th and was able to make up 2 positions on his own and hold off Elias, on a leased bike, by a hair.

But this was at his home track, the only place were he actually won. 5th or 6th is a mediocre result - although not a poor result. We shall see if this is a turning point or not. I am inclined to say that next races will be more like 8th-10th..even though the "lefty" ring is a track Hayden likes...

As predicted, if Dani can stay on the bike.....

Seems to me the Honda's front end is not up to the task.. as Stoner complained then.. The Honda is not yet a real 250 style bike..but, I think for the next few races that shall be resolved.

uhhh, kenlucky, you ommitted the 4 DNFrs as well as the start jumper Toseland. Last I checked, they all started the race at the same time as your idol Hayden.
Oh yeah, he was just lucky lol hahahaha hehehehe!
