We should all be asking: what have Honda and Pedrosa found to turn in that kind of result? Dani and the bike just looked planted and pointed right from beginning to end. He monstered everyone at the start and never looked back.

Gritty performances all round, especially from Rossi, who as usual never gave an inch right till the last corner.

I am praying for Stoner to get well and for Lorenzo to keep challenging but deep down I think the season is Rossi's - he is being pushed harder than ever but no one shares his grit, determination and flair. This is the year of true grit in MotoGP. I think if Rossi wins this year it will be his greatest championship yet.

Rossi was given notice today by 3 toddlers that life at the top is shorter than he has been predicting.

honda have gone back too the 2008 chassy(motogp.com) thats why elias is rider a bit faster only dani and elias so far not sure about dovi. pedrosa when he is like today is almost impossible to beat just like last year in Barcelona. but only if he gets a good start, he is not that strong over taking under brakes if he today had come out of first coner 5th or lower no way would have won.

Can't see why Yamaha would want to lose either Jorge or Vale. Also can't see HRC losing either Dovi or Dani. These two have been very loyal to Honda over their careers. Spies will start in Tech 3 and if he shines, will somehow move up to the full squad. Maybe if Vale retires.

The Morgue, how can you say that Rossi should have won this, Dani out classed him the whole race, only by slowing up did Rossi get a sniff, Rossi was lucky he had that sniff, as if Jorge had done his stalking right he might have been third. Try to see the race for what it is and look past your favourites, I like and appreciate Rossi, but I will always cheer the underdog as it is too easy to support a winner.

on motosprint.it it says he will have full support, in tech3 they dont have full support like in the FIAT team..FIAT team makes all the calls and tries the new stuff that why tech3 was a no show in the Barcelona test cos they had nothing to test hand dont have a say i what they want.

Spies cannot go directly into the Fiat Yamaha team, he will have to go via a satellite team, ie, Tech3, rules is rules!
Glad Vale aborted his last corner lunge, he's dumped a Spaniard in the gravel before with a move like that.

i couldn't agree more, DANI ... altough i know 3 minute gap wasn't enough (with 18 laps to go) to safe the 1st position from VALE ... vale so close in last turn still make me surprised

you can read on www.motosprint.it (in italian) that he will have support from yamaha maybe different sponsor
