Kenlucky kid and Yank Spanker or whatever your name is. Are you guys by any chance French? Because you two sound like the same anti American haters that Lashed out at Lance Armstrong for so many years. Nicky Hayden is the greatest MotoGP racer of the 990cc MotoGP Era!!! :)

Live with it you constipated French ****s!

MOTOGP » Hayden: Home fifth as hard as a win

The US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca was arguably a make or break moment for home star Nicky Hayden, who came into the event with a best finish of eighth from his first seven races as a factory Ducati rider.

Anybody who believes that the hayden bashers are bitter Rossi fans is totally deluded, most of them have forgotten he's won a championship... you guys need to look closer to home and stop accusing us Rossi fans.. Great race Nicky more power to ya..

The Hayden ash munching, pole smokers get their panties in a bunch because someone questions their "great leader" - a heresy against their beliefs.

For a guy that does massive amount of training, marathon sessions, testing..burning fuel & tires in huge amounts... only to have his injured teammates, who had not ridden a bike in 2 months, quickly beat him...

The fact is The Kenlucky Kid is a very lucky guy who for the past 10 years has the best of the best, but only winning 3 GP races, often spending seasons w/o leading a single lap & won a WC due to attrition,DNFs,DNS & competitors injuries- to never come close to repeating such a fluky feat and much less repeat it.There can only be 1 Kenlucky.

Hey Kenlucky Kid.

Keep it up. I love your posts. You say it the way it is. I don't know how stupid these Nicky Hayden fans are not to see it that he was gifted the Championship. If he is really a World Champion than he should be showing speeds once in a while. For him to be 21 seconds down after the checkered flag on his home race where he has had marathon sessions, its embarrassing. Did you see his big grin when he pulled into the paddock like he was only behind CS. Toni Elias had the satelite coming in 2nd and 3rd. Till than you know where he stands. Behind Toni

Kenlucky, Ago & Sir Yank what makes me laugh about these blinkered Hayden fanboys is they keep using this term hate, when are they going to bother to read the posts that state the truth instead of reading between the lines. We don't dislike farmboy we just know he is punching above his weight which his appalling record of just 3 wins in 7 seasons on top flight machinery bares out. They need to throw away the blinkers and get some glasses as to claim at Laguna he had a race long fight with Elias is bending the truth to the point of snapping.

I didn't think anyone on here is saying Nicky's the greatest or the best thing since sliced bread - but he's definitely not a bum. He's won rookie of the year, a MotoGP title, has never finished outside of the top 10 in points (6th last year), has 24 podiums, 5 poles, at least 1 fastest lap in a race every year since 2005, and of course the infamous 3 wins. Cut it anyway you want it and that's a pretty nice resume.

His entire career has been on a repsol honda. So his "resume" isn't that flash. Ask yourself who else had 6 straight years on a repsol?.
