James Toseland had a day to forget at Laguna Seca on Sunday, being black flagged on lap 11 after failing to serve a ride-through penalty for jumping the start.

James may i be the first to welcome you back to BSB. Mind you i for one think you would have more chance of a win in WSB not so much competition. I reallt hoped ....i should have known after donny last year though. Now Ben Spies on a yamaha moto GP bikes gotta be worth a punt.

Well, well, well. Aren't the excuses flying tonite? I hate to rub it in, cause I don't mind JimBob and two seasons is barely enough, but as an Aussie cricketer said once...
Bloody Poms, can't ride, can't race and obviously can't read! I'll leave you with that thought, nighty night!
Seriously though, from the footage I saw he copped a rough call, but not looking at the pit board for 10 laps!!!!WTF!!

Makes My S@&t Hang,

I don't know what you're smoking but in 2007 JT got 2 poles and 8 wins. This year as we have passed the half way point Spies has 8 poles and 10 wins in the deepest fields of sbk racers.

2007 the TK honda was a great bike while the Duc was lacking that year. JT also had tons of experience on all the tracks and with the team.

Spies is on a new bike, new tracks, new team & new tyres. There is no comparison and yamaha will not be swapping the two of them next year. I just hope Spies stays in wsbk 1 more year so he can give JT a reality check when he's riding for ten kate next season.

There is a rumour going around that James Tossland will be on a Triumph in 2010 in the Supersport catagory. Seem the power to be feel that putting 2 Brit failures together might be exactly what Supersport needs.

Maybe JT will take McCoy's engineer as well and create a barrier within the garage.

:p

"While some of these people are Brits and don't support James. Many are foreign and just doing it to be spiteful."

I have been quite vocal about JT and how bad of a MotoGP rider I think he is, but let me clear somethings up

1. I am not American
2. I have nothing against Brits, I live in the commonwealth
3. I have nothing to be spiteful for.
4. I rooted for him riding for Ducati and TK.

What I am, and have always said, is he is a piss poor GP rider. If he went back to WSBK, and did very well I would not be surprised at all. He is a very good racer, just not in GP. What gets my g0at is all the Brits slagging any criticism about him, and refusing to call a spade a spade

I guess they dont understand and will never understand how much it hurts us real fans to see our guy, who we know can do so much better be.......whats the best way to say this......at the back.

Yes he did hold out for a competitive bike & I will hold my hand up and say I really thought that when JT signed for Tech 3 that by this time in his second year would be where Edwards is now fighting hard for 4th/5th in the standings...behind the usual 4 but fighting hard as did Tech3 I'm sure. I really thought he would have a couple podiums by now but instead its hard to watch but I hope for some mircale that he gets a chance because I believe he can/will achieve better in Motogp.
