MOTOGP » Edwards: Back to the drawing board

Colin Edwards achieved a personal milestone with his 100th point-scoring finish in his home US Grand Prix on Sunday, but that was the only real highlight of an otherwise difficult race.

Nooo, front-end problems for Colin! Is this the first time it happens to him? I have never heard him complain about front-end problems before. :D

it's like he rides a unicycle... Big Colin Fan, but there has to be a solution if Rossi and Lorenzo have pretty similar bikes and can get the performance out of it.

You would think at 35 and with 2 kids he would know what to do with his 'front end'

It's hard to say what his issue is. He's 5th in the championship, and the best Sat rider. Do you really expect him to battle with the factory boys? Considering no Sat bike battles with the factory boys, I'd say he is doing pretty good. He isn't going to beat Rossi, Lorenzo, Stoner, those cats are just too strong, so he has to settle with beating everyone else, minus Pedrosa. I think his style needs to change, or he needs to toss his superbike-esque setup for more of a 250cc style setup. And I don't understand how he has so much front end issues, yet finish consistently where he does. Although his current teammate makes him look like Jesus on 2 wheels.

er, he's already done that a year or so ago. That's why he bit**es about the front all the time.

"Edwards fought his way back into seventh on lap seven"

err... bit over the top, he was gifted seventh after two riders in front fell off...

and before anyone says it, that's a dig at the writer of the article not Colin.
