Let's hope that first Casey gets better and secondly that he will continue to make the title fight interesting. And let's hope the "fans" lay off the "oh he's faking it" BS.

"Slight" and "mild", blimey, the way he was carrying himself let's hope he gets nothing serious like the injuries Lorenzo and Pedrosa have had to endure but have still made it to the press conferences. 46

Rawdog, it doesn't help when they highlight that his illness is "slight" and "mild". When you look at what Dani and J-lo are or have been riding with then it doesn't make Casey look too good.

Having said that, there's no doubt Casey has been suffering, anyone who has seen him get off the bike the last couple of rounds cannot help but feel sorry for the lad as it was obvious that he was in real discomfort

Like the use of "slight" and "mild". Someone along the line has a sense of humour! Still not great things to have but I did expect it to be something other than slight or mild. He certainly seemed worse than slight or mild. Strange that.....

Cubikrube and Mr. Hyde

There is a difference in physcial injuries (Dani and Lorenzo) compared to an illness. It's a bit unfair to say one is more serious than the other because all have to deal with them in their own way and we don't know the extent as to how it's affecting either one of the riders.

Love to see Mr. Hyde & Co do a weekend of 50/60 laps at 200 km in 40 deg heat with 'slight gastritis and mild anaemia' and see how good they feel after.

One of the possible causes of gastritis is long term use of NSAIDS (anti inflammatories which include aspirin) Given the problems he has had with his wrist I would not be surprised if this was a contributing factor. Whatever the cause I hope they get him 100% fit. I'm not a big Stoner fan but he has talent, and it's always more interesting if we have 4 or 5 bikes racing each other for fist place.

Hey, steady on.

I've never said he was feigning illness. I've critisised his behaviour and I made a statement on the report I've just read here on Crash.net.

I suppose Lorenzo was over the worst of his qualifying injury at Laguna Seca which made it possible for him to attend the press conference.

Folk on here can't resist being abusive to other contributors and then have the gall to say get off this forum ?
