MOTOGP » Stoner pleased to put up a fight

Casey Stoner finished fourth for the second race in succession, in Sunday’s German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring, but was far happier than he’d been after Laguna Seca.

This is the part of his career when he starts to transform into the second coming of Nicky Hayden.

as far as i am concerned, he is being genuine and optimistic about the future as he feels that his exhaustion issues are having less of an effect. I am expecting to see him at the front starting with donigton. 28 points are quite a bit to cover but definitely within reach and i really hope he pulls it through

Judging by the acceleration of the duke they have found something new or Casey was running the bike at full power to give the impression he can run with Rossi when he's healthy, non of the bikes can run full power till the end and when the duke had to save fuel he dropped off like a ton of bricks.. Incidently after being dropped off he did his best lap.. go figure...

Even if he tries he cannot come second to Hayden. CS is genuinely fast. All the best to him and a speedy recovery so we can see all the best riders in their full potential. When he is really fast I think he is the rider Rossi worries the most about.

bunch of losers, why not just say "they're faster than me that's why they finished ahead of me, I'll just do better next time, congrats to this, that etc..", are you losers trying to tell that if everyone on the grid is on perfect shape, perfect tyres, perfect this and that and with a fiat sticker on their bike, everybody will be scrambling at the finish line on the same time?? pathetic losers..
