Looks like wet race for sunday. The times set earlier in the session were more relevant. Lorenzo and rossi both looked excellent in the rain. Whoever was lapping the circuit near the end was always gonna get faster and faster as it dried up.

the only chance for the other riders on the grid (besides the big 4)to rise up and get a podium (if not a win) is to have a wet race on sunday

It is suprising that Casey still does so few laps. Especially with the testing ban. It must make rider input in the development almost impossible. He has finished on the podium in the last few races but it doesn't tell the whole story, last ime out he was 10 secs adrift and the race before 28secs adrift. When you look at the performance advantage he had in 2007 you can't help thinking Casey and the Duke should be doing a lot better.. ps he's iot that ill, as he said about lorenzo if he's forth on the grid he's not that bad...

Only an idiot would be surprised Casey is doing short runs at the moment! The M1 is by far and away the best bike out there and has been for some time, Casey is still the only Duc rider who can get anywhere near them.
