Bad news this shame to lose him in this years championship and its bad for Ducati also but they might see its far more prudent to fully support 2 riders instead of having a 2 tear system , it's not good having all your eggs in one basket

Huge Huge news, and not good news at that :( What a shame, it took me ages to warm to Caseys talents and now I really like him he's off damn. I hope he recovers well and can come back strong. Im no doctor but sounds like he suffers from Chronic fatigue syndrome (ME). My dad got it when he used to do competitions in Karate, he got glandular fever and still tried to compete anyway then suffered a strange energy sapping condition for ages afterwards. Hope he picks up as soon as, wont be the same in the championship now he is gone. Suprised to Fabrizio get the call up, wonder who will get his WSB seat, I hope it goes to Byrne after his recent run of form.

He was already in MotoGP. Back in '93. It wasnt a good time for him. Not to mention that he will be having a hard enough time with mending broken bones, winning his much deserved championship, etc to be worrying about learning a notoriously difficult bike.

As Far as Bayliss? As much as I would love to see him on track again... he's retired, and I get the feeling that he wants to keep it that way.

What a chance for Kallio to prove himself.Must be rubbing his hands together with delight. If he can beat hayden in at least 2 of the 3 races he will be factory next year. Has to be.

This is ducati's worst nightmare. Stoner out means the lack of riders who can handle this bike is highlighted even further. Also makes stoners worth double. Ducati can never let him go if Kallio cant make top 10 each race.

Hope it is just illness stopping Stoner. Love him or not he is badly needed on the grid.

Losing stoner off the grid makes MotoGP even less competitive as I don't see either Kallio or Fabrizio making a dent in the field. Love Kallio's comment about "not being a second faster" because his satellite Duc is the same as Stoner's. Right, sure. So does this mean that Fabrizio will miss WSBK rounds?? Maybe I missed something.
