DORNA are killing this sport like the FIA has killed F1. it's a prototype class. WE WANT TO SEE INSANELY FAST BIKES RIDDEN BY INSANELY FAST RIDERS !!

we need them to

1) change engine capacity back to 990
2) supply unlimited fuel
3) lose traction control
4) keep the control tyre

makes happy racing

This is a stupid rule... it should be a manufacturer decision not Dorna.

3 race weekends per engine :-o They'll have to be bulletproof, works of art and probably a lot slower. Superbikes faster in 2010?.... you bet.

Now I'm fully sure that Ezpeleta is an idiot.

Carmelo, maybe in 2010 it is time to introduce a rule about 6 front and 6 rear TYRES for WHOLE season? It should save money yeah.

Well its actually only 1.5 weekends per engine as they have a spare bike. They can't be expected to change the lump every time they want to change bikes (imagine a dry/wet race! haha)

Still a stupid rule... as has been said its a prototype class let them be prototypes! the idea of them should be to perform at maximum and run out of fuel and rubber as they cross the line! Anything that is left at the end of the race means they could have gone faster and it is therefore wasted!

Ah you MotoGP guys are so spoilt with the engine power. :)

Back to basics and most bikes will wheelspin easily if the rider puts his weight over the front. With a MotoGP bike I reckon you could short shift it too.

So...come on guys! Don't bin your burnouts! OK? :)

Just about the stupidest rule that could possibly be introduced into a prototype series - Wonder how much money will have to be spent on R & D to acheive this cost-cutting target - Why to Dorna seem so hell-bent on spoiling the show??

Could there be a hidden agenda here ?? - suspect not ( but it still sucks anyway!!!)

In 2010 you get 6 engines and that is it. The engine in the spare bike is classed as one of the six

And all these new rules are supposed to help Moto GP achieve what exactly ?? Turn fans away because it's becoming totally boring? Come on for f*cks sake, all these stupid rules are just killing off Moto GP.The new rules should be "ban the new rules and think about it again".This is all getting pointless.I think they should start by getting rid of the electronic friendly 800s and bring back the "sideways" 990s for a start. At this rate i'm going to have to start watching F1 again, please Dorna, don't turn me and everyone else off and force us to view F1 !! What will they think of next, black leathers and no logos allowed on the bikes and p*ss pot helmets ??!!! Come on Dorna and the FIM,WAKE UP !
