Since Hayden was "lucky" because all his "competition" was on "crap" bikes or "injured", I guess we get to say the same thing about Rossi this year. All his competition has either been injured or crashed, or has a crap bike.

Funny how Stoner gets the stank eye because he was on the best bike, and could only win while on the best bike. From the looks of things the same holds true for Rossi.

I also like how the Hayden bashers say Hayden is full of excuses. It's funny, the Rossi sheep has been full of excuses as to why thier hero lost the title two years in a row.

Hypocrites

I stopped being a Rossi fan because of Rossi fans. You guys are pathetic.

Mika Kallio made an instant impact during his very first hour as a factory Ducati MotoGP rider, in place of 2007 world champion Casey Stoner, at Brno on Friday.

Looking forward to seeing how these 2 will battle it out with a potential spot for next year. Hayden claims to be getting better those his results compared to Kallio's show otherwise but I think the Kentuckian will have the edge in a race scenario.

Let Nicky try Stoners bike on Monday, or transfer Stoners settings to nickys bike. He has nothing to lose.

The Fayden fans seem awfully quiet.

It seems like you guys will lose another excuse about Kallio is using Stoner's crew chief, because he isn't using him! Mark my words, Suppo will change his mind about Fayden before the next 3 races are over. If Ducati were so confident about him, they would have signed him for 2 years right from the start.

@ concerned

Fayden has already tried Stoner's settings before, stop making excuses for him.

So much for Stoner being a useless rider and he only does as well as he does because of his bike and electronics. Kallio is 1.7 sec off pole of Lorenzo, there isn't a snow balls chance in hell that Stoner would be that far off. Kallio doesn't have any excuses either, he has been riding the Ducati long enough now and should only be better now he has the supposedly best Ducati out there.
Well done to him though as he is the quickest Ducati out there..

Talk about jumping the gun.

If Kallio can consistently beat Hayden in practice, qualifying and races for the next three rounds ok, hell, even after one round it would be understandable to write off Hayden. but really, its been all of two practice sessions.

If Kallio can get on the podium within the next 3 rounds, then it's all over for Fayden, this isn't exactly far fetched. If they still keep Fayden in the factory squat when Kallio gets a podium, then the only reason will be selling bikes, same reason why Honda kept him for this long.

To all you Hayden bashers out there....

Are we talking about the same guy named Nicky Hayden who is a World Champion?

You know, .... the pinnicle of motorcycle racing and the very few elite racers that will ever hold the title of World Champion.

@ Steve929,

And 2007, 2008, and 2009 continue to show it was more luck than anything else. Kallio, first year in MotoGP class, is already kicking his a$$ on the same bike first time out. He really should go to WSB or something, because GP bike is not for him.
