I know he's at the back of the field there, but he's under the two minute mark - looks like great work from Mattia. Going by the fact that the Duc's meant to be a bit of a beast, can we take this that Pasini will be able to cope with a MotoGP bike even with his dodgy arm? I hope so, he seems a top bloke and he's an exciting rider, I'd love to see him get a break

I can tell you Tyrone, I feel elated :)

Just having a laugh over the great comment by Valentino after the race, his English may be scant but he makes the most of it and has great wit. Like his description of the infield track in Indianapolis (we race in the garden) or the fierce battles with Lorenzo (too many of those are not good for my grandmothers heart).
I also liked his description of the new longer life engine, he calls it a 'tired' engine or 'more soft' than the precious ones :p

The Morgue, I'm ever so slightly ashamed to admit that I laughed like a drain when Lorenzo went down, I know I shouldn't but I couldnt help myself, chiefly because of the immediate points difference. Rossi with the pressure off is even better. Incidentally, what the hell was Lorenzo doing out so wide on that corner?, I think he heard Rossi coming up and decided to cut back in, but just misjudged it. Any idea who is dissing your comments big time?, sad isn't it!

There was an interesting interview with Burgess where they asked him why the M1 was the only MotoGP bike to run a muffler. The answer was simple: it is less tiring for the rider plus he can hear the position of the other competitors behind him.
That is so useful and clever, why can't the others come up with that?
