You may see him in a fiat but it won't be a yamaha more likely a punto... Casey's development needs are so leftfield why would a top team risk having 3 riders at the back just to accomodate Casey?? WIll be driving opel v8 estates in the northern territories next year or AMA..

"While team-mate Colin Edwards is sixth in the championship and the leading satellite rider, Toseland is just 13th"

Colin is 5th in the championship where he has been for damn near all season. Jeez.

Crash.net: Corrected.

What a load of cr*p, Schwantz has absolutely no idea what the problem is with Stoner and neither does anyone else.

If AustMCN can't find out what is going on (Stoner detests the Aussie media slightly less than than the others) then no one can.

If previous form is anything to go by, we will not know until he or Ducati says something. This post is just Crash trying to get 250 "comments" from the Stoner and Rossi fan boys.

I agree with all the speculation is BS. But keep this in mind. In the past few years riders like Mat Mladin, Ben Bostrom, Chad Reed, Andrew Short just to name a few, have suffered from conditions that sound awefully similar to what is going on with Stoner. Before anyone says yeah and they didn't sit out rouns..... they weren't riding MotoGP bikes either.

Off the subject but sinced Toseland was mentioned....I don't get why his band gets so much attention. marketing ploy to say they feature a SBK/Motogp rider but they are nothing more than a slightly average cover band who without JTs fame no one would pay attention to.

Schwantz is making sense. He is one of the best riders ever and is entitled to his very educated opion.Fact is we all love the speculation about Stoner hence we are reading and responding to comments like this. Stoners problem is in his head, i dont think any medical doctor can help him there. As for JT i am gutted that he has not got it together this year and sadly i dont think he will be around next year, i hope i am wrong.

Schwantz is a legend!!! He's been asked the questions and he's giving his opinion based on his own experiences. He's been around the Moto GP paddock for ever so is as qualified as anyone to make these comments on his observations. Sounds bang on to me.

Not for nothing, but has anyone looked at Stoner's website lately? It hasn't been updated in weeks. He hasn't said a word about the whole Lorenzo deal or defended himself against what Marlboro is saying. That's a little strange. I don't think he's coming back. Just MHO, but it seems like his heart isn't in it anymore and he'll walk away.
