Well Rossi is a fool no matter what. World titles don't count for Golden Boy since all of them were achieved on superior machines under the guidance of Burgess. Riding a bike isn't that hard. Actually it's quite over-rated. I mean c'mon: falling of at 200km/h... What's the big deal?

Nah, MotoGP is dead as long as Golden Boy is winning. Bring on Stoner-Moaner! Now that's a class act! No whining. No advantages. Nothing except pure riding talent, charisma and social skills.

There is absolutely no reason for Yamaha to tell the other manufactures what it is doing for 2010 .... I think it might be the old fox JB trying to psych out Honda and Ducati

The M1 is what it is today because of Burgess AND Rossi. They have great communication together. Rossi has great ability to explain the characteristics of the bike. And Burgess can build on his inputs with his expert engineering methods.

I don't care much for Casey as I knew that he was only great because he had a tire and hp advantage over Yamaha in previous season.

As for Pedrosa, if the team can translate his inputs into forward progress of the bike, they'd be fighting for first. Rossi is not only a great rider, but a great test rider as well.

As was Doohan with JB's help
And Gardener with JB's help
And Spencer with Kanamoto/JB's help

JB has been behind every Honda W.C. (except Haydens) since 1985.

Obviously he needs a good rider, but his influence behind the scenes is immeasurable
