Lorenzo fully deserves the win, it perfectly balances his crash last time out in BRNO. Pedrosa did some good riding after his crash, the way he clawed to the back of the field (and aided by Canepas DNF) he was at least able to salvage some points.

Interesting. Dani and Val pitching it down the tarmac!

Kinda gives JL a different aspect to the rest of the season now!

Did anyone see that monkey jump off J-Lo's back and latch straight on to Rossi

It will definitely give him a moral boost. But he still is 25 points behind and that is quite a margin. Next week Misano :)

I'm a bit surprised Vale didn't jump on his spare bike and pick up some points. It could be cucial, if Jorge wins the remaining 5 races and VR comes 2nd, they'll be level on points but JL will have more wins.
Good bottle Pedrosa..
Congrats to Hayden..

But 'The Morgue' it was a 50 point lead until today and if this race result is repeated we are even-stevens. Bring it on!

Not long till friday practice at misano, can't wait for a rossi backlash. And more details of this stupid tech 3 line up. Shouldn't picking a rider for his nationality be illegal or something.

Hey Patto,
I didn't know Rossi owned the rights to victory celebrations.
Let me get this straight ....
Whatever Rossi does equals good
Whatever anybody ele does equals bad.

Do I have that right?

Wosideg, For Vali to have gone out on his spare bike at least one tyre would have had to have been different from the bike that he came in on...Going out on a bike with one slick and one wet ain't no use at all.

Congrads to Lorenzo for being able to stay on the bike and get the win. Strange race no doubt. You could see some water still on some parts of the track and it looked like TO ME that Pedrosa had just went through one of those spots right before he crashed. Maybe it's just me. As for Rossi not jumping on the spare bike and continuing on, why would he? He's leading in the points by a whole race and what would be the point in going back out on that tricky track and risk hurting himself by possibly falling again. Rossi hurting himself could cause SERIOUS problems for his championship.
