Fair enough he got a 6th place but I can't help but think if Tech3 keep him it'll only be because Dorna say so. He just isn't getting the results we all hoped he would. I like Edwards and I'd love to see a British rider doing well but I can't help but think there are people more deserving of a shot on the satellite YZR-M1s than these two.

Good job by Melandri but it's too bad he crashed so close to the end as he may have had a chance to take the position away from JT. Melandri's pace was impressive considering he's on a Kawi that's going nowhere and obviously not been developed since the beginning of the season. The Hayate team should be given credit and hopefully they can find a bike to race next season a Honda or Yamaha would be nice.

If Hayate runs a Yamaha next year it would be interesting to see who they have as a rider. If the Tech3 team has Spies and Edwards or Toseland would the Hayate Yamaha team take the odd man out or would they be a one man semi-factory team with Spies?
