I kinda agree with John here. Mainly 'cause I'd hate to see Lorenzo go the way of Tamada or Sete. On the pace and showing promise for one good year then falling off the next. He's improving every race and I hope he doesn't let Rossi get in his head. As for all those that are saying That he's in Rossi's head, I disagree. Rossi no longer has any thing to prove except to himself. The naysayers will always seem to be the loudest. Just like Spies moving to WSBK, when you have it you have it and when you don't you don't. The numbers at the end of the year tell the real story.

This is cooking up to be a good show by seasons end! Lorenzo has the consistent speed to run with Rossi, if not even faster. His two recent crashes came while leading or battling for it. Rossi's crash at indy neutralized one of those. I tend to agree that Lorenzo has nothing to lose. He is going to hang it out till the end. Rossi by his very nature will have no choice but to respond. The guy doesn't have a cruise mode. And that may be Lorenzo's greatest weapon. If he can get Rossi to make another mistake like at Indy it could all fall his way. Rossi is no mental midget though. He will be well aware of what he needs to do to seal the deal. I hope that Stoner can come back to make it a show!

I'm inclined to think that Rossi had a racing incident at Indy, rather than he crumbled under the pressure from Lorenzo, his bike was virtually upright when he went down. That was poor tyre contact via a dusty section as has already been suggested. Had Rossi not crashed we would have seen him sit on Lorenzos' tail until he was ready to go for the lead. Lorenzo needs to play Rossi at his own game, even it it makes for a dull race, he should leave it as late as possible before passing, while conserving his tyres for the battle. Or maby have a pass then give it back, and see what works. Trouble is Rossi usually has a card up his sleave.

I hope Dani can spoil Rossi's show, maybe get in between Rossi and Lorenzo and allow Lorenzo the win. Even though Jorge is battling with Rossi, there is no love lost between Jorge and Dani. So, it will be a good fight. Who needs Stoner?!

John Tomac, Rossi had pressure. His bike wasn't up to par all weekend and Lorenzo was faster still. Rossi only needed a lap to understand how much faster and how much tighter a line Jorge could hold.
When Rossi blew the line, going in too hot and wide into T1, he knew he needed to fix T2 to stay in touch. Rossi ain't a robot. He's human and proned to understanding the urgency of the matter. His bike wasn't upright. It was leaned right, less contact patch.

It's funny how when Lorenzo and Casey crash it's "the pressure" but when Rossi crash it's just "an incident". LOL!

People can make their case for one of the other but this is motorcycle racing. Riders crash. Be it battling with others or by themselves - sh1t happens. The "pressure" thing is a bit over used on this site.
