Good news, Nicky seems like a really good guy and always gives an honest appraisal in interviews, a genuinely likable charachter. His reputation as the guy that does the most laps in testing seems to be reaping rewards and its good to see someone else finally be able to get results out of the Ducati. Hope he has a good year in 2010 as well :)

Good news, as it has been negotiated if he wins this weekend, he will have double the salary of Stoner, Lorenzo, and Capirossi together. No, sorry that was negotiated for the title in 2010.

Well deserved Nicky! Pure grit and determination earned this contract renewal. He's proven he can develop this ride to better suit him and possibly other and that is something others have failed at. Now the key will be closing the large gap to the front four. That will be quite a task but hopefully the improvements continue with the bike setup and it becomes a reality.

Glad to see Nicky back on the Ducati next year. Congratulations to him. Glad to see that good, old fashion American hard work has got him another seat in GP. America used to be known for this kind of grit and determination, blue-collar work ethic and it's good to see this still lives on in a rider like Nicky. His hard work is coupled with a humble attitude, always willing to place the blame on himself before team and epitomizes the kind of leadership quality this culture is sorely lacking. In an era of self-absorbed celebrity, NH is a refreshing character. Congratulations, Nicky, you deserve that factory ride. Keep representing the USA in MotoGP!

Another rider putting in one podium performance at contract time and then underacheiving for the rest of the season. Sounds oh so familiar if you've got the right passport.

LMAO, Now Pedrosa lost all his bargaining chips and has to settle for less. His managers along with Puig really dropped the ball on this one. He should have played the Ducati card much better like Lorenzo did. I am convinced that Honda will lose in 2010 and this makes me very happy.

Good on Hayden. Now that you have signed your contract don't turn into an Elias and quit until contract time next year. :p
