These new egine rules are stupid.Dorna are a bunch of d1ckheads.Ever since they took control of moto gp they have slowly f*cked the series up.At this rate we would be better off having Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclescake running the series !!!!

MOTOGP » Edwards: Yamaha engine progress lost

Colin Edwards, who told Crash.net that Yamaha’s new M1 was like a 990 after his first ride on the bike during winter testing at Sepang, believes the bottom end punch which made the engine so impressive has now been lost.

Spies now to stay in WSBK for 2010 according to motogpmatters. Meaning that Edwards gets to keep his Yamaha-Japan-run Tech 3 seat for another year. That should cheer him up a bit!

Nothing yet on Toseland.

Even with almost the lowest high speed Edwards managed to obtain the 6th position on friday practice. Impressive!

I say Tech3 should pick up either Vermulen or DeAngelis.

Tony Ellias is too big a risk to take and Depuniet has been in MotoGP far too long to expect more from him at this stage. We have seen him on different bikes and only this year has he been fair.

Vermulen to get 1 more chance, or DeAngelis a chance to come into his own.....or a flyer with the Escargo or whatever guy!!!!!Spieswas a mistake though!! They should have snapped him up for 2010 to prep him for Fiat or at least vetted him to see if he would be a worthy replacement for Rossi and or an end of contract Lorenzo who will demand more money again. Atleast Yam would know if they needed to keep Lorenzo or that had a sure thing backup

Revealing analysis of the bike by Colin. It was an interesting read. Sh*tty low-life engines are robbing him of the stonk that he needs.

kermit, I suggest you go look up who the Grand Prix Commission and, more specifically, the MSMA are, before blaming dorna for all the ills of motogp.

I just dont understand what needs to be removed is rider aids not restrict running and f*ck up the show for the fans wich in escence pay for the sport, no fans no motogp. The rider aids are more expensive than the engines and removing them would make it more fun to watch.

Well, that sounds counter intuitive to me...long life engines lose their bottom end and now need to be revved higher and for longer :?
