I seem to remember some years ago Pasini significantly injured his wrist, a few years later it was said that he'll always be a 125 rider as he no longer has the strength required for anything bigger, even a 250! He then moved to 250 and does ok on them, but come on, a one off test is fine, but surely he won't be able to maintain a full season's racing on an 800 if what was said of his injury is true?

@Md Zane... Hey-up, your behind me in the queue! Their is a roadgoing Desmondsedici in our neck of the woods, heard it on Sunday morning, caught a glimpse of it going past my house, geez it sounds sweeeeet!

Apparently, the chat who owns the local cafe/bike-stop reckons the Desmo owner is racking-up the miles, and loves every one of them (lucky man).

Pasini has done 56 laps on day one of a three day test. If he can keep doing that many laps and pick his pace up a bit.... I think his arm has restricted movement and nerve damage but maybe it is strong enough for motogp. Why would they give him a second test if they didn't think he was a possibility for a seat? As was mentioned earlier, he wasn't expected to cope with a 250 and he's doing alright there.

Well Mattia declared himself that he couldn't do a full season in MotoGP because of his arm, I bet he took plenty of time in between to complete that many laps.
He doen't have to submit himself to the testing rules because he is not a regular MotoGP rider. I doubt his testing will be of much use to the likes of Stoner and Hayden anyway.
