Good to see Marco is somewhat respecting the competition but at the same time feeling strong about his chances of a good result. I was sort of concerned he might come in with his head to high and maybe take somebody out. The Biaggi quote is funny with his concerns of being outpaced by Simoncelli. :?

Top five is better than saying "I think Im just going to back marker this one guys"

best thing that can happen - Marco wins the race.
worse thing that can happen - MArco is swallowed up by the pack.

people on here talk as if this guys the messiah

even if he'd been fully fit in Qatar (and won) he'd still be 3rd in the 250cc championship yet he's going to drop in an annihilate spies and co :?

i hope he's quick but the last thing id want to see is this clown 'battling' with anyone at the sharp end

He's the reigning 250cc champion, remember?
Very entertaining and spectacular rider, it will be fun seeing him on the big Aprilia, I hope he doesn't knock one of the title contenders off
but I am really looking forward to this one :)

Go Sic! :p

Make no mistake Simoncelli is a class act. He is a true racer. The old addage, "you race, you fall off".
The last two seasons, the offs have been less frequent than before, but sooner or later it will all click together and he will give someone some serious grief.

i wish him luck. had a few iffy moments in his career with the odd bad racing move. but overall he is a great racer. so i think he will do well. two top 10s would probably be a great result
