Well I'm glad I've got in early on this thread B4 the unfortunatly predictable "I hate stoner - well i hate rossi" brigade start.
I cant wait to see Stoner back and i hope he's back up to speed real fast (which I think he will be). The more fast guys we have at the front the better. Its been pretty cool watching Lorenzo and Rossi go head to head and it'll just be better still with Stoner in there. Like him or not, he's got the speed to race the Yamaha's.
I saw someone on another site call Stoner "Tiny Tears" the other day. How funny is that? Although u may need to be English to know what tiny tears was. But it made me laugh anyway.
Looking forward to Friday. 4 weeks off is too long.

There has been much made about Casey's eating habits. I'm wondering if he were to make better eating choices and had a higher quality diet this would have happened? AT any rate, I can't wait to see Casey come back!! Heck, I can't wait to see some racing!!

That's brilliant news. Like the guy or not, no-one can deny he is a class rider, capable of being at the front.
Good luck to him.

Can't really say I'm a fan of Casey but I'm sure glad he's back. Don't expect too much from him though, folks, he's been away for a long time and although he'll not have lost any of his skill, his body has changed and needs to get reacquainted with racing again. It's a tough ask but Casey will be up for it. A top 8 finish will be great for him, imho.

For the sake of MotoGP, it'll be good to see him back.

I can't help but think he would be better off spending the rest of the year consentrating on his fitness and start a-fresh in 2010. He could end-up just being a danger to himself and others if he is not fully fit.

there must be something that everone seems to miss about this (((-stoner condition-))) thats kept him away from racing for all this time.

i mean motorcycle racers are the toughest sportsmen about and have been since the start of racing bikes itself.
In my opinion - It was in his own mind - his batch of race wins were mostly run aways - thats until valentino came along and roughed him up a bit last year- then came qatar where evrything all went his way again and it came easy to him.

i just dont think casey likes to fight - at least not with a bike that is getting completely out-gunned in all departments by rossi and the yams.

And then Dani starts doing the same on the Honda.
