Exellent news, Hiro really deserves a ride in the top class, I would prefer they would let him take Talmascis seat at Scott Honda, he is just trailing the field with oil dollars anyway...
But hey, another Cafe Latte bike will look great on the grid :)

For what he has achieved on the Honda 250 this year, well deserved. However, this does leave a hole for Honda in the 250 championship for next year.

@Calvin

You mean "a hole in Moto2 for next year" right?

I'm glad Honda have sorted this. Aoyama stuck in Moto2 while guys like Hector Barbera move to MotoGP just sucked. GP's without at least one Japanese rider just doesn't feel right. MotoGP has a strong grid next year. Ur gonna have to fly just to be top10. Which is as it should be.

Mr. Kruger

I meant a Honda rider hole. Who's gonna step up to the plate for Honda after Aoyama's gone to MotoGP.

err.. well that would be every rider on the grid as they will ALL be Honda powered in Moto2.

According to the Spanish TV, Espargaro has almost signed with Pramac Ducati for 2010 season.

does this mean that lcr doesn't get another honda, or have honda provided another one so aoyama gets a ride? if the case is that lcr have another honda coming their way, i wouldn't be surprised to see elias on the other one. his sponsorship potential is greater than that of de angelis, and they're roughly equal in terms of ability
