It would be good to see both Tech 3 machines battling towards the front come raceday, though I won't be holding my breath..5th and 7th are still attainable in the riders title and would represent a very good year..perhaps good enough to keep JT in moto gp with Yamaha.. :?
Rossi sets up his own Fiat/Marlboro Ducati Team with Burgess for 2010, Lorenzo will need a teamate, Edwards to the factory team freeing up the job of teamate to rookie Spies.. and maybe, just maybe,we get a Brit in the series, pleasing Dorna and the Beeb..Sykes keeps his job in WSB.
Call me daft, but stranger things have happened.?! :p

wosideg, don't feel bad if Brits don't make it to GP in 2010. There are riders from the British Commonwealth. That should at least represent GB in some ways.

Sure Max, I like to see the Yanks and Aussies go well, even Casey if he lightens up a bit, but it's not the same is it? Not that JT would be my choice or that he deserves a reprieve.. but if he did finish 7th overall and beat Spies at Valencia and the Rossi/Ducati thing happened with his experience and improved championship position..? better stop before I becoming completely delusional handn't I.?
But what if...?

Finishing 7th and beating Spies are not enough, because Tech3 and the fans are clearly expecting more from him. If Rossi does go to Ducati, then there are still other riders who will beat him to the Tech3 seat, the likes of Vermulen, Capirex, Elias, all of whom are race-winners.

Back to the topic : I regard truly honest Yamaha pilots sharing setup specs. Science Community does this from the ancient times- I wonder if Ducati/Honda did the same there will be more close figth among their riders and more collective improvement.
IMHO its just a matter selfishness VS.General interest.

5th is superb for a sattelite rider, considering the dominance of the 'fantastic four'. Edwards and Doviziozo will be fighting for the 'best of the rest' trophy, no shame in that AT ALL this year. And Toseland? About time... I mean, c'mon, he is 13th in the championship. Byebye 52.
