It was interesting that they never showed the jump-start on TV!

the sad part is that this guy has so under performed this year that even the last of his fans dont care and this is such a non story, for gp coverage, announcers, boards and flamers alike.

The article suggests James got a good start and made up one place - considering Lorenzo crashed out and Hayden ran off this is not true, he actually went back a place.

Keep working hard JT, you deserve some luck on your side soon!!

I'm not one of the Toseland "knockers", far from it, but that's pretty close to the sad reality of his situation.

I'm glad he's leaving MGP and going to something decent because things just are not working out for him for whatever reason and he needs a fresh start.

If in a years time "The Ben" has had a nightmare in MGP and JT has blitzed everyone in WSB, then the more broadminded might look back on his time in MGP differently. Who knows, he might even be back for some payback??????

Hi James, I respect you talk about finishing 7th in the championship, but I don't think jump starting is the way to do this. Please keep it fair in the future. Now you probably have to settle for 13th in the championship.

:)

I'm not a JT fan, but honestly on TV I didn't see him jump the start. However, on the only replay I saw Lorenzo looked like he jumped the start, wonder if he would have been served if he hadn't crashed...

I'm getting really sick of the usual comments from british motorcycle fans building riders up just to knock them down again. come on people, we do it in all sports, and to be honest it really gets tedious. we all know that it is going to be an impossible dream for us to think that a brit will gain success in the premier class (maybe Bradders being the exception)but JT is the best we've got, and have had in the mordern era. which brit has had as many top six finishes ? if you disagree name me another.

it is all judged by a sensor in the ground and the transponder on the bike, if you pass a certain point prior to the lights going off, it is a jump start, no arguments.
