@gringo.

Yes Ducati are in a big mess..they won the past 2 races and beat Rossi in the last 3..oh I know Rossi was only racing for points ( ala Hayden in 06 ? )

Ducati are doing fine to me, they just need another rider to step up and ride somewhere near Stoners pace, the bike sure is capable.

cheers.

Why on earth would you want to make your test driver a team manager :?

He did a soso job on developing the ducati, don't expect him to do any better as a team manager.

@Hagetaka

Sure it doesn't seem like a lame Duc but that is all down to Stoner's ability to ride that piece of sh*t.
No credits to Guareschi for developing it. I suspect he tested top speed and maybe stability under braking but forgot overall rideability..

Check out those mutton chops!

What's wrong with Livio Suppo? It's not like he's not been getting results out of the team is it?

jeez buddy, get a shave and hair cut! He looks straight out of the '70s! Emmerson Fittipaldi is blushing!

I said at the begining of the year that I thought Ducati was grooming Canepa for a different role in the team with him being an engineering student and tester. It hadn't cross my mind that Vittorio was actually in that position!

Following in the Yamaha World Superbike for having driven Vittoriano Guareschi in 2001 took the role of test driver at Ducati and he has remained all this time but will soon also have an Italian take on another role.

Officially, the function of Guareschi include communication between the driver and technical director Filippo Preziosi, the Italian will include more work to do in the garages. What happened to Livio Suppo, who until recently this role seemed to have happen is not known but the Italian press are rumors that this reorganization is to Ducati in the team accessible to the arrival of Valentino Rossi in 2011.
