who wrote this article??the bike pedrosa was on was a full factory effort with loads of development. This years bike has had some input from HRC... Aprillia also pulled the plug on the 250 a while ago to concentrate on wsbk....and it would be very fitting for Honda to win the last title because they have been in it the longest..it is also testament to how good the bike that Honda built really is that it can still kick a$$ at this stage...in fact it would be a tragedy if Honda didn't win this championship!!!!!!!Come on HIRO!!!!!

Looking forward to this last race, but will be a sad day to see the end of the 250's the only real stepping stone up to the moto gps class. No one has ever come to be a moto gp champ without coming throught this class. Next year it the Honda gold cup!! a very shallow effort to replace such a great class of raceing.

I was getting ready to correct you but since you stipulated MotoGP then technically you are correct save for Nicky.

Back on topic though this is a sad ending to watch the final 250 race of all time! I had almost wished they would have done something similar to MX and move to large displacement singles or twins in ultralight GP spec chassis. Something along the lines of modern day Ducati Supermono style race bikes. The new Chassis will, I am sure, be awesome. But for me part of the draw of the GP bikes was that they didn't sound like streetbikes! And Moto2 will just sound like S/S bikes.

Better still if Honda would built a special batch of 6 cylinder 6 carb open piped racers without electronics and traction control. That might just convinced me they they were in it for the racing and spectacle, and not just a monopoly. I think a crossed planed 4 pot yams sound as flat as a witches tit!! Lets have some 18-20,000rpm special screaming 4 strokes
