LOL @ SPIDEY

Doing what he needs to do...Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up.

From what I understand he has one...Count them 1 motorcycle he has never been on before.

Smart to just go out get used to the bike and try on wadding it up in practice.

I expect he will continue to drop his lap times as he gets more time in the seat.

Wished he would have said a little more about his impression of the new bike.

Maybe after the next practice session.

Spies is being his usual self- modest and not giving too much away. Quietly confident as usual then :)

Toseland faster than spies laptime on track/R1 debut,
Crutchlaw demolishing spies pace on same bike,
how long ?

arguments can be made endless, toseland's morale on the m1 is way too low for him to think straight, he aint bothered by motogp any longer, hes thinking abt wsbk..

toseland we know u sucked this yr, so gl in wsbk next yr m8, give crutchlaw a challenge i guess

@ Hookem

He will definately try to keep the bike in one piece, but I'm sure he has more than one. Firstly because I saw a pic with two bikes with the no. 11 on it, and secondly Yamaha are not getting a few thrashed bikes get in the way of testing!

Morale????

Had to dig deep for that one. Difference between the portimao test and today is that they're on the same track at the same time.

So obvious I shouldn't have had to say it

The track at Portimao gets better with each day of use and the lap times drop accordingly. :)
