Well done Casey, I think he has a good chance of consolidating 3rd in the championship this weekend... Clever of ducati to save new engines for the end of the season a privilege that could only be enjoyed by those not involved in the championship. Still nice to see the screamer out with a flourish..Looking forward to seeing the new bike.

TELLIVISION or whatever,you better switch the box back to cartoons,or go to bed,looks like spies is thereabouts,not much improvement in the top guys, in times so far, sure to be in a couple of hours though.

Casey is in a league of his own, and in it he is champion. It's just not officially recognised yet. Although this doesn't stop his fans celebrating his hard fought championship.

'Spies - ahead of JT...oh dear oh dear...'

Oh come on, did anybody *really* think that Spies wouldn't outqualify and outperform Toseland this weekend? JT has been an abject failure on the bike the whole year and seems to be worsening as it draws on. While he's on the same bike, it's slightly crazy to hold JT up as a benchmark for Spies, as the guy plainly hasn't gelled with the bike and isn't able to cut it in the class. You don't measure yourself against failures. Spies is no fool and will be gauging his pace not against Toseland but the guy who is comfortable and successful on the bike - Edwards. And he's doing a grand job so far.

I think if DP, JL, VR or CS turned up on a wsbk and were 12th given they'd been on a wsbk bike before and had ridden the track it would be seen as an abject failure...he might be only 1.2 or so from the front but he's onl 0.5 from the back...

I was sure spies fan would be here by now...

come on, where are you? Ben looks like he's making progress.
