It makes complete nonsense to say that Pedrosa is a fading star or that he is better or worse than rider X or Y, since the only way to compare riders is to have them ride on the same machinery. He's beaten Hayden and Dovizioso fair and square, he's beaten Stoner on Honda machinery (of course Stoner was on a satellite bike and crashed a hell of a lot that season and he's improved since then, so that's not a fair comparison) and he has dominated the 250cc class. Also don't forget that Burgess loss to Yamaha has not been trivial for Honda. These are facts, and time will tell if he'll be champion or not, but all the negative comments above are just hateful personal opinions.
