Funny that the fanboys are a bit quiet about Rossis grip problem. If Casey had been 4th on the grid and blamed it on grip problems, they would be pouncing on him and slagging him off as a moaner by now.Odd isnt it?

Valentino Rossi claims a ‘big question mark’ is hanging over his Valencian Grand Prix hopes after grip problems left him at the tail end of the top six for most of Saturday’s qualifying session for the season finale.

I thought it might be over whether he bothers turning up or not :). After all the title is in the bag and strictly speaking he should already be concentrating on next year.
Tomorrow is basically a runners up event and who ever watches them :?. Having said that I probably will to see how Spies does. Roll on next weeks testing..

The 'big question mark' is whether next year Lorenzo will beat Rossi and achieve the runner up spot. It's a no-brainer who will win the title next year (& he doesn't ride in yellow).

sh7t Jake you old dog you, did you cut and past that from last year or the year before. It's harder to remember with the back to back championships... ha ha ha ha ha ha
You're right about one thing though you'd have to be a no brainer to fancy Stoner after 2008 never mind 2009. Reckon he'll just keep going backwards, that'll mean 4th next year I think??

Lee it's fairly straight forward but I'll type slowly for you.
Rossi fans give Stoner stick, Stoner fans give Rossi stick. Stoner has no fans, hey presto no stick for Rossi..simple really. :)

Lee,
I think what causes people to slap the ausy girl around is his mouth. When it doesn't go right he outright blames everyone and everything but himself, but when he does get it right, he takes all the credit. As well in post race intvws, he has a hard time acknowledging the other riders next to him, be it what ever step they're on. We all know what VR is doing and his goals af being like Ago, but what are CS's? Maybe the 3rd best Ausy to ride? Seriously, he'll never be the best in any record book. Does he look up to Rossi as most on the grid do, or does he too despise him as his Acid tounge fans do because he's not theirs? He was never successful till he got on the Ducati, (cont..)

and he wasn't mature enough to handle the newfound fame. Classic underachiever personality disorder.

Wow Schnertz, you have such considered, unclouded insight.
CS openly blamed himsef for this year, he was constantly stating that the bike was capable of winning but he was not.
Also, do you tink it's some massive love-in between riders?? Why do both Yam garages have walls dividing team mates then?

re Schnertz in California...

"Classic underachiever personality disorder."... is that what you're suffering from? Or have you managed to "achieve" more race wins and world championships that CS?
